VIII. DIRECTORS
- Function:
1. The six Directors serve as members of the Council.
- Duties:
1. Each Director is assigned Committee and Interest Group liaison
responsibilities as determined by the President. In this role they will:
a) Provide two-way communication and dissemination of information
between the Council and the Committees or Interest Groups.
b) Provide a voice for concerns, questions, or suggestions to and from
the Committees and Interest Groups to the Council.
c) Attend meetings and have access to communications of the
Committee or Interest Group, as needed, but the Director is not part
of the decision making process for the Committee or Interest
Group.
2. A Director may also be appointed by the Council to fill a vacancy in the
office of President-Elect or Past-President created by succession to the
office of President;
3. Directors are also expected to perform such other assignments as the
President or the Council may direct.
