Program Summary
Libraries, organizations, and U.S. state extension services are designed for cooperation and partnership. The missions to extend research-based knowledge resources to individuals and communities are similar. In today's world of re-organizing, re-inventing, and re-tooling, libraries and extension must partner more effectively to enable both institutions to remain relevant, vital and focused on critical issues for the state, nation and world. The three speakers for this panel shared perspectives on opportunities for cooperation with the E-Extension initiative, a multi-disciplinary collaborative case study, and parallel partnerships in the international community.
